TEDglobal, Oxford 21-24 July,anyone going ?
Discussion
Hello Pistonheads !
I just found the TED website,
following a wiki link in the "maltese falcon" article (don´t ask) :
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/adam_savage_s_o...
(Adam Savage from mythbusters tells how he created his own falcon replica).
Interesting page with interesting talk from interesting people, I think.
http://www.ted.com/
There is an annual TED conference held in the US,
and one in Oxford in July, speakers list here :
http://conferences.ted.com/TEDGlobal2009/program/
Each of these speakers has only 18 minutes for their topic.
If I had 4.500$ somewhere, I would gladly attend this,
even if I would only understand maybe 10% of the topics,
this brainpool seems very fascinating.
Well, there´s always the net and the TED site will hopefully
show some of the talks,
but given the large PH community I thought that maybe someone from here
will be in the audience (or on the podium ? ), own up to it PetrolTEDs...
Regards,
Benni
