Due to the potential for getting it wrong, I'm against the idea of capital punishment... If there were no doubt however, they the individual went out intending to rape and mutilate, then leave 'em swing.

I can't even begin to imagine how a mind like that works???

OK, so even if there is no guilt (felt or experienced) on the part of the rapist for committing such a brutal act in the first instance, why did he feel compelled to then organise the thing with the acid?

This person - for whatever reason - is obviously broken to a point where it's more than highly unlikely that he can be reformed, and even if he could, why should he be allowed to live a life when he has chosen to deny another of one???

I'd like to see something happen such as making such criminals work to pay money into a fund that (1) covers the cost of their keep in prison (2) the specific victim can use as they wish. Until the point at which the criminals decide to commit suicide because they feel their lives are pointless.
