The death sentence is too good for people like that.

From the article...

"The judge will be able to pass a life sentence on the boyfriend if he considers him to be a danger to the public."

I think they put the word "if" in instead of the word "when" by accident?

he should be taken from the court in handcuffs, put in a box slightly bigger than him which should then be lowered into the ground and covered in earth.

end of discussion.

The trouble with locking something like this scum up, is that the punishment, if you can call it that, offers no revenge. Revenge is an element of justice which is completely ignored by the high and mighty who make our laws. This is, I think due to them living in ivory towers. Punishment must mean punishment of the mind and the body, as should revenge.

Precisely my point. 16 bullets, delivered over 7 days, in specific parts of the body for maximum suffering. I'd be happy with that, and I'd be a volunteer to deliver the bullets as well.

Government is beyond understanding, is it not?
If I were a member of the Taliban in Afghanistan who killed members of the Uk Military there but was then killed, the Government would consider that justice.
However, back in the UK, I could kill thousands, or millions, and, if brought to justice, be assured that my life would not be forfeit.
Why the difference?
