I'm looking forward to this - there seems to be plenty of panic.

Of course, I'm sure there'll be plenty of Tories caught out too - maybe a smattering of LibDems.

Do these fkwits not realise that they should be seen to open and honest about everything then we might actually start thinking they're not all total scum?

Well I think it's disgusting that they get a 'summer recess', it's not like the country stops needing to be run.

'If claiming for bath plugs and patio heaters and porn is not a resigning matter, you know that it's something grotesquely awful to consider killing themselves.

Well, let's hope they top themselves and that their estate is taken to court to recover the expenses they fraudulently claimed.

I wonder if the bookies will take bets on who they are......

Slightly off topic, the term 'Love Cheat', what tabloid invention is this, is it more sensational than adulterer or harlot, or is less expensive in libel, if its wrong?

I'd expect no agreement on MPs expenses from Tories and Lib Dems until all the dirt has all come out, and any new system includes accountability of receipts, this is a rod, even for the tories, who'll probably consider it as collateral damage they can afford, to keep beating Labour with all the way to the election, even if it won't (should) bring down this government.

I'd argue that it hasn't been run for a while now - do we really ever notice?

I read somehwere that many MPs have said that recently they have had nothing to do, no debates, no bills to approve - they have ben taken out of the process by Brown's refusal to give any freedom of thought - the whips tell them what they're doing and that's that.

Until yesterday's vote - let's hope this afternoon is the same. It would affectively be a vote of no confidence in all but name.

Great news. But, who would we all like it to be?

And, you can't nominate Winky, I think the entire country would like to see him do the Tyburn Jig.

I'm getting more than a little worried that if this level of sleaze continues for much longer we may start to see some civil unrest.
This lot make the last Tory govt seem positively benign. The level of anger and enormous sense of betrayal that the ordinary man in the street feels towards Nu Labour is huge, and still growing!

Parliaments standing is massively damaged now. There is a growing perception that ALL MPs are now tainted by the smell of sleaze in the eyes of the public. (despite the actual numbers of MPs doing dodgy stuff being rather small I suspect)

Seriously, for the good of the country and our democracy, winky and crew should stand down and call an election NOW.

Why would they do that?

There is not ONE of them who would get a job inthe real world.
