I wouldn't want to be the one who had to tell them to go!

Once they unsheath the blade, it has to draw blood, being their postman must be incredibly dangerous.

It's a good start.

Let's see if the self serving scum actually realise they need to do something about it.

This was a great result although the vote is not binding I believe. Also as someone who is not normally a fan of the Lib Dems it is good to see them actually standing up to the government with the Tories and not repeating the shambles of when Nick Clegg ordered his party to abstain on the EU referendum vote.

Whilst not binding, the shear embarrassment will force a 'review' and a change in policy. fkwits.

Lets hope this comes to pass. People who have been willing to sacrifice their lives for our country should be afforded the opportunity to live here. The Labour mob dont seem too concerned about supporting those which have done nothing at all for our country and just add to the future drain of resources through their feckless attitudes and actions.

"Earlier, during PMQs, the Prime Minister suggested Britain could not afford the £1.4 billion cost of an open door policy for Gurkhas but promised to keep the issue under review"

I find it utterly unbelieveable that it needed more than a moment's thought.

Foreigners who serve in the British Forces and are honourably discharged should be automatically allowed to stay in Britain if they wish.

Everybody else should only be permitted in if their presence benefits Britain in an economically beneficial way. Once they break the law it's time to say goodbye to them and their family, and return to their home country or one of their choosing that shares their values & beliefs.

Refused!!!

im not surprise, after all this goverment seems intent on self destruction.

these guys are people who have served this country sometimes with horrendous injurys, and get left in limbo by a 2 shackle goverment that lies through its back teeth.

lets solve 2 problems here, let gordon brown himself turn round and have to tell these heros that they dont deserve to stay.

brown dead, gurkhas prove there worth once again, job done.

There's an amazing bit of footage here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politic...

The lawyer for the gurkhas is speaking to the press (at the end of the clip) and that muppet Woolas is completely ignoring him and talking to someone else. Obviously a trait he's been taught by Gordon Clown.

Great quote on the radio today: "If this is what happens when Gordon Brown takes personal charge of something, god help the Gurkhas and god help us all!" LOL!!
