How do we resolve a problem like this?

Just chatting away to my accounts colleague earlier this afternoon, and happened to mention a thread on here that Boris Johnson looks like he wants the role of prime minister. My otherwise intelligent accounts colleague, who is also in the territorial army, didn't know who he was and wasn't planning on voting next year as she's not interested in politics.
I find this amazing that there are still these individuals out there. I did point out that as a member of the TA, it might be worth knowing who is sending you off to a war zone. Her reply was that "thats what the military tell me to do, not some politician.." I honestly didn't know where to start with that, apart from the obvious "yes but the military do what the Queen tells them, who is advised by Government". She then said "oh yeah, I took a solumn loath to Queen and country when I joined up". "loath", not "oath" you might notice!
And you just know she isn't alone in this. What to do?

I think we should limit voting to people with testicles.
Really women do not have the right sort of attitude to authority, and the right sort of ideas about independence to make good decisions. Look at the way taxes and government spending have increased in all western countries as a direct result of female suffrage.
