My 10 year old daughter, whilst watching the News last night, has pinned the current finacial mess firmly on the Environmentalists.

Her take is, if they didnt stop us cutting down trees, we could use the extra wood to make more paper with. then we could just print more money as needed and everyone could be rich....

So there, its their fault.

She also says we should tax the government more, not the workers. Its all their fault anyway, they should pay.

Ellie Thomas (aged 10 and 3/4s) for PM. She makes much more sense than the other shower.

The first bit isn't quite correct. It would devalue the pound even more.

But all these green taxes on business and making businesses be unnecessarily green costs them big time (I have no opposition with sensible green ideas such as turning off computers at night or re-using single sided printed paper as that saves businesses money). So she is almost there.

.
But what if we printed loads of Euros?

Give them to the chavs and they can pop across to france to spend them, then the french can set fire to them as they do with our sheep, this will then devalue the euro, get rid of our chavs, and any that make it back can take their Le Plasma Tellie to cashcnverters and we can then buy them cheap

Flawless plan

Well, she is right in some respects.

As a basic lie to raid our spare cash they use the "environment" as an excuse to tax more, and with less free money to spend etc....

The fact she is 10 and has a grasp on cause and effect is more impressive.

I'm blythly trying to get the eldest Cheeky Jim (aged just gone 7) educated on the wider world and currently his greatest concern is whether Vini Vidi Victory is a better Thumb Wrestler than Danny Kaboom! smile
