I'm getting pretty sick of hearing this from the useless Labour monkeys.

Firstly, I would say it's extremely unlikely that they have the ability or intelligence to 'save us'.

Secondly, even if they do 'save us', what do they expect? Thanks? Adulation? FFS, you were largely to blame for the whole mess in the first place, it's only right that you should try and sort it out - not some amazing act of generosity above and beyond the call of duty!!

If I creep up behind you and beat you around the head with a hammer, you're not going to hail me as a hero if I then give you a lift to A&E. You'll pretty much still think I'm a bd.

Hmmmmm.

Their escapist view is: It's nothing to do with anything they did, it's global and they're doing everything they can to save us.

No politician will ever say 'I fked up'; it will always be someone else's fault.

True, but we know they caused it, and they know we know, and we know they know we know. So why carry on with the bull? Are there really enough hard-of-thinking people in this country to make it worth their while continuing to spout unbelievable crap?

Hmmm, I may just have answered my own question there.........

Apparently, the end is end of this year. I'm going to long the FTSE with £50k borrowed money on 2nd January 2010. If I lose £50k, I'll sue Winky for giving out bad trading tips.
