I give you:

Return of Class War
Darling Gambles on Growth
Alistair in Wonderland
Darling's great squeeze
Red all over
A decade of debt
At least it's sunny
Gord help us all
Robin Good

and my favourite:
They've ruined Britain

Universal condemnation then...

I don't believe the Mirror's 'Robin Good' is supposed to be condemnatory.

It's a play on Robin Hood and under NuLabia, Robin Hood has been reclassified as a terrorist.

If he were alive today he'd be swapping Lincoln Green for Cuban Orange.

I can't remember when all the newspapers were so universally negative about a budget. The 50% tax was a good way to appeal to the lefties though and attempt to drown out (or bury) all the bad news.

I am quite sure quite a few media types and journalists are on or above the 50% tax rate threshold - I wonder if they forgot to add them into their politics of envy equation....

Yep, and the only way the MPs avoid being in this tax band is because their expenses are tax free. banghead

Even the BBC was attacking labour this morning.

However, by 12:00 the web page had mysteriously been pulled to be replaced by "Tax Rise Not The End Of New Labour". It would appear that BBC editors have gone through the material retrospectively and pulled a lot of the negative stuff.

I would summise a government spin doctor was on the phone to BBC high command.

Everyone should do their best to get a screen grab of these stories as they appear originally, then do the same later when they've changed. Someone could set up a site to show 'before' and 'after' articles and expose the BBC for the lapdogs they are.

Absolutely agree, I've submitted a complaint to the BBC regarding political bias, interesting to see what sort of response I get.

It was an update to take account of the drivel from Brown. Did you read the page. The Headline is in quotes, because it is a quote, from Brown. The article quotes him and also quotes others who give him a verbal shoeing. Are you listening to Radio 4, Today burnt Labour spokespeople at the stake. The present main page on BBC refers to "Decades of Pain" Hardly unqualified support.
