Interesting stuff. Not least the morsel about some Grauniad weasel revealing his identity. It would be heartwarming to think that's a name on Guido's list for the future, but the individual concerned is almost certainly a nondescript third rater. If not the Editor.

Fawkes claims it was the Labour party that tipped off the Guardian to his real identity.

Now that looks like a great job - sitting at your laptop, phone in ear, drinking beer outside a pub.

Where do I sign up?!

Guido is king - long live the king. A well written piece, but it fails to highlight in sufficient depth that his activities are not for his own personal gain, he doesn't make a lot of money from it. The results are spectacular with the scalps of Hain & McBride to his credit. I just hope he can bring Brown down soon.

That piece is disgraceful.

Interestingly the quote attributed to Conan The Barbarian was actually first made by Harold Lamb in a book about Genghis Khan. Whether or not the Kahn ever said it, of course...

Indeed. Seems to me that someone's out to get their petty revenge, not least for exposing Fleet Street's long standing complicity in the whole cycle of sanctioned leaks and spin, and the trough feeding journalists that help perpetuate it.

Who whole slant of the article is laughably transparent, but I read it thinking 'so what?' - he organised raves and dropped a few tabs like so many others (hypocritical journalists included). As for what his wife does for a living and all the rest, just pathetic.

A shot to the foot with marksman-like accuracy methinks.

That article merely shows that he has lived more of a life than any of those in Westminster. Have you seen the replies? the Telegraph is taking quite a barrage of abuse because of it

I thought "is this the best they can come up with?!"

Seriously backfired, judging by the comments.

proper hatchet job, and a dismal piece of journalism.

Pleased to see it's blown up in their face a bit!

Blimey. I never thought I'd see the Telegraph reduced to that sort of a hatchet job.

This is great! I have never seen a comments section with so many against the host article. I strongly suspect that those in power, who use their lapdogs for purile spin are bricking it now, people arn't as sheep like as they'd like to think. I would like to think that this backlash by the general public will continue untill the vile puss of New labour has been purged completely - they are an utter disgrace, and now they know that we know they're a disgrace.

The biggest problem for GB is the proximity to the budget.

Nobody will believe a single line of it; all because of this exposure. Makes me wonder whether the timing hasn't been co-ordinated for precisely that reason.

Roll on budget day!

I dearly hope that this lot of evil shysters actually get their comeuppance at the polls.

Roll on the election. Finally I think even the sheeple must realise this lot are simply a bunch of career criminals politicos hanging onto to power as every month is another paycheque...

I'm a very strong supporter of Guido. Looks like a load of tosh and I cant see why people are getting antagonised over the piece.

Great isn't it? As winky and his motley crew slowly float up st creek it's nice to see that every newspaper article that tries to treat them sympathetically(sp?) is being bombarded with bile filled comment.
