The Times said:
“There is no reward for being a diligent select committee member,” Tony Wright, the chairman of the Public Administration Committee, said yesterday.
Ummmmm - Silly me, I thought that the reason for becoming an MP was to serve the people - surely that is reward enough!?

No, the reason to become an MP appears to be to make as much money out of expenses as possible whilst employing as many family members as needs be whilst doing as little work as possible and trying to expand contacts for any business you happen to run whilst attempting to Lobby the Govt to get laws changed to assist any business you happen to run......

The truth about our MP's are slowly seeping out. What a disapointment they are. I guess we've got the Government we deserve.
