1:1 on the GBP / EUR???
Discussion
This morning we broke the 1.104 to the GBP barrier and it's still dropping steadily.
My mate is coming over to visit on Friday and he managed to get a measly €1.04 to the GBP exchange rate. This too when the pound was getting €1.115 holiday makers must be getting under a euro for every pound they exchange.
Who reckons we'll hit a 1:1 situation shortly and I'm wondering if this spells the end of the pound??
Just added a live chart showing the currencies....refresh it to get the latest exchange.

I used to find Europe expensive, that was 6 months ago. It must be crippling now for many things.
It's not expensive at all. If you earn in EUR, the increase is negligible. You notice it more of course when you come from the UK and you earn in GBP.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
