Careless Driving (or Driving without due care): Driving that falls below the standard of a competent driver, often due to an unintentional mistake, misjudgment, or a brief distraction.

Reckless Driving: A deliberate, conscious choice to ignore the rules of the road and the safety of others.

Based on the video ... The act of taking her eyes off the road and shout abuse at someone whilst approaching a junction isn't an unintentional mistake but a deliberate, conscious choice to ignore the rules of the road ........

Go on plod do your duty hehe

Well done madam, that told him.

Looking forward to all the usual suspects who commented about how van man was wrong for shouting at Rachel Reeves making similar comments in this thread.

This.

Much as the karma line might be true I just feel sorry for the poor sod she drove into because she couldn't be civil.

Could have been much worse.

A cautious driver would have settled for flipping him the finger, allowing attention to remain on the primary task.

This is like the football fan on a moped that crashed. I think it was in Europe and the fan was swearing at some Leicester fans.

EDIT: found it... Roma Fan

Pity about the person who got rear-ended through no fault of their own.

At least they shouldn't struggle to find clips to support their insurance claim.

I doubt the police will be interested.

It's a minor, low speed error of judgement. Let the insurance companies sort it.

Reckless has been binned as an offence as it was difficult to prove in front of a jury. Replaced by dangerous with different criteria.

Plod should be interested.

She's likely to have hurt the occupants of the car she hit. And the "let the insurance companies sort it" attitude gets on my tits - I (and you if you're an insured driver) pay for that sort of stupidity. We'll still have to in all likelihood...but maybe the culprit will do more than just write it off if there are heavier consequences. Maybe her insurance company will refuse to pay her parts of the claim with luck and her premiums can sky rocket.

No consequences to stupidity just breeds more stupidity.

She's all over social media today blaming everyone but herself. She's your typical modern day attention seeking air head dumbo.
