Pubs banning Labour MPs

Tom Hayes, the Labour MP for Bournemouth East is upset about being banned from his local pub. Its funny how when your parties policies directly affect you they get upset. Good just been to my local and a pint has gone up by 30p

I think we should roll this out to all hospitality venues.

Yep, it should be rolled out to every hospitality venue. Even things like wedding reception venues should ban them, may be then they will understand the depth of feeling and the genuine impact their being so utterly st is having!

I hope these pubs have a list of people they ban so normal people can see the sign and choose to avoid giving their money to morons .

100%, if an establishment would allow me entry I'm not sure it's one I'd like to frequent.

To be fair to Reeves, the Marsh isn't her local pub regardless, and even if it were then its highly unlikely she would venture in it as its a bit of a sh!thole.

Quite simply the landlords getting a bit of free publicity in this case.

Just curious but how many places are you banned from? Does that also mean you won't enter a pub you are not barred from. That just sounds really odd.

Barman got a bit of publicity, he'll last less time than others if he discriminates on party political lines. People's opinions change, it's not wise to tie your business to a political party.

Quite, if someone was barring reform voters it would be news at ten. But it's just some bar owner's opinion.

It would be far more productive if local Labour MPs were encouraged to go to their local pubs and then engaged in gentle conversation.

So Rachel, for example, could be schooled in the basic principles of finance over a double brandy and packet of cheese and onion.

Lammy could be educated on the pitfalls of black supremacy theory.

Suck here could do with several hours of pub chat, initially relating to honesty and integrity and then moving on to many other areas including Britishness and patriotism.

Interesting there's the word riot in patriotism.

Its got nothing to do with far right, far left, far up, far down, far sideways, far middle or far anything.
No one is restricting the Labour MPs free speech, they are free to speak to who ever they like. The first link I posted has a link to a video by Tom Hayes, no one is preventing him from speaking, they just don't want him in their pubs whether he want to speak or not.
