Scumbags engaging in antisocial behaviour.

I wouldn't overthink it.

If it was young kids up to mischief I could understand it, but 26yr old men?

Absolutely appalling, but apparently we shouldn't be over thinking it.

Look at the Sycamore Gap tree.

Not like there was any sort of reason or explanation behind that just feral behaviour.

Bet this will be the same.

Well of course but why?

Sycamore gap was famous, a village tree, not so much.

Maybe not famous but the village raised the money to

1) plant a permanent living Christmas tree and
2) put in the electricity supply

I would imagine in a community spirited village the oiks responsible may soon regret their actions ,

Shotton isn't exactly the greatest area, but that's an impressive level of stting-on-your-own-doorstep scutty behaviour.

An epic case of ‘sts and giggles’.

There does seem to be an amazing set of weirdly configured chimps nowadays.

Modern society has spawned some feral scum. It's a shame the cops have to ensure the stairs down to the cells are not so slippery these days. Hopefully as said previously, the villagers will kick some sense into them. These cretins will not change but it would make the next generation see sense.

Saw this today. Utterly senseless. When people go to the effort of doing nice things to try to improve an area and create things to give happiness and people go out their way to destroy it for no reason it makes me angry.

It's going to take expense and another 10-15 years to put right.

Sadly unlike the sycamore gap tree I can't really see these scum bags getting more than a slap on the wrist.

The police seem to have put a lot of effort into gathering evidence at least - they made a cast of the stump. I wouldn't be surprised if the person got actual prison time for it, and it seems they have been remanded, so they are getting actual prison time already.

My office is less than a mile away from Shotton and nothing at all would surprise me about what happens there it’s an awful place.

I wonder if one of the patriots in the village discovered that the tree was forren and not Engerlish and cut it down?
I can imagine they are a bit bored now that they have hung a flag from almost every lamppost going through the village.

Why in so many countries in the world are trains never graffitied, trees left alone, elderly respected etc etc.... meanwhile in the UK we are in the gutter.

Surely there is a lot to think about there as to why the UK has so many feral s**m? Perhaps it's because so many think its's not worth thinking about as not worth doing anything about it?

Forren? That really depends on how far back you go.
