Would you be so kind as to explain what she said and what was wrong, but in your own words, not what it says in the piece?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't actually get too upset by her comments.

God, I feel dirty now!

She does seem a bit thick.

Or it's deliberate so she can join Corbyn and Sultana.

I would not - it would be a waste of my time going by your past posts

So, wait, she said antisemitism is different from racism, and that the abuse travellers experience is different from racism, but said that it is all bad including dissing on gingers, and somehow this is bad?

Is the issue that she in some ways diminished the rest? I think antisemitism is doing pretty well in standing up for itself, personally, and even has its own word.

Also, Diane Abbot has been the butt of too many jokes about her political gaffes that are thinly disguised racism and misogyny. To then accuse her of some sort of racism thing feels like the "crowning turd on the cowpat" as Blackadder put it.

Yeah the idea she has trivialised or minimised the experiences of certain groups by pointing out that they experience racism in a different way is clumsy and in some cases plain wrong but is it racist or egregious? Not to me. She does seem to open her mouth before choosing the words that are going to come out so my sympathies are limited but I can’t stand faux outrage.

Can Dianne explain how it is different and present her league table of racism?

I`m obviously naive and believe racism is racism and its all just as bad

So the second paragraph you kind of what agree with her hmmmmm.

Look all discrimination based of protected characteristics is bad. Racism is bad not just because it's unpleasant but because over 1000s of years it's been at the heart of war an conflict.

To dimish one ethnic groups issues v another is bad.

I would say the slave trade in the 1800s was horrific but I would also argue the events of Oct 7th were equally horrific and then more recent events where the other side were killed getting aid also horrific. All 3 are driven by racism. It's much easier i suspect to shoot an unarmed civilian getting food aid if you don't value them as an equal. Much like it was easier to buy a human being to engage in forced labour if you did not see them as equal.

Diane Abbot maybe unwell but she also may well be a vile racisit
