As per the title, the world is looking pretty scary and a bit fked.

It tends to be elderly rich white men surrounded by slightly younger toadies.

Everything is amping up towards some massive global conflict by men who will likely be dead in ten years, if they are lucky and die of natural causes, whilst killing lots of younger men !

I know we have had female leaders before with varying degrees of success and some of the current ones in the US are madder than the blokes but maybe let some decent, non mental ones have a go, as to be fair they are fking it up big style.

Failing that, let AI have a crack as can’t be any worse than the massive egotistical pensioners duking it out like it’s the Daily Mail comments section.

They just need to expire, I’m 54 and slowing down, those lads are knackers, play golf, watch UK Gold etc, stop rolling towards WW3 whilst posturing your old wrinkly bits let someone who has a few years left have a crack !

No offence to anyone in their seventies, enjoy it without being a warmongering nutjob !

Women are as mad, foolish and power hungry as any man.

True great leaders that positively transform the lives of their people (without seeking personal gain) are super rare.
A case could be made for Lee Kuan Yew

"..transformed Singapore from a poor, resource-scarce island into a global economic powerhouse. Singapore achieved rapid industrialization, world-class infrastructure, political stability, and high living standards.... focus on meritocracy and anti-corruption laid the foundation for Singapore’s prosperity and international influence."

But others suggest he was "vicious, vindictive and a control freak"

Er…who are these old blokes actively warmongering? The only major one doing much of that is Vlad. Don appears to want minerals and vodka, Chinese Xi uses dosh to own Africa, SKS couldn’t fight his own shadow and Macron is, well, Macron.
The only other person vaguely applicable here is the new German Chancellor who doesn’t have a proper govt yet, doesn’t have the funding to fund this mighty new European war chest he has allegedly opened and doesn’t have the man power.
The only lass in power in Europe is generally disliked cos Don likes her and she isn’t considered to be a nice safe liberal lefty girl.

You mean people like Uursula von der Leyen and Kaja Kallas who want to build a European army to take it to Russia? Or maybe Jacinda Ardern is more your cup of tea? Or wee kranky?

Edit: Ahh I get your point now - you want more DEI. So people like Kamala Harris?

The problem isn't politicians being male or female.

The problem is politicians being politicians.

This.
And that’s without the added distraction of kittens and embroidery.

I don't think you can suggest one sex would be better than the other. Both have had utter fk-ups. For every Thatcher there's an Abbott. For every Harris there's a Truss, Clinton, Rayner. For every Aung San Suu Kyi there's a Kim Yo Jong.
