Of course it is.

You've got to hand it to them. It actually takes a bit of skill to come up with such utter, utter bullst like that, and then say it with such authority to make it sound important.

You could literally take a dump on the floor, make up some 'meaningful' nonsense about it, and it would win a prize.

I was in the Tate gallery a few years ago, and one of the exhibits was a white square painted on a white wall. You obviously couldn't see it, and the explanation below it said something like "The artist is trying to tell us how he felt when his wife left him". I just walked out at that point.

I am absolutely convinced that modern art is just some massive in-joke where the art community tries to see how far they can push things before it all gets exposed as a prank. "Right lads, this week, we are just gonna spill some baked beans on the gallery floor and then claim it's an expression of political frustration within the Congolese community. Let's see if they fall for it!"
