Car related pub has an offensive name.
What about Midget Gems?

I reckon all the issues currently going on in the world dwarf this little issue.
But then, someone has to be offended by something.

Czech out Darlings Cabaret in Prague. I thought I’d been slipped a Rohypnol. A side room housing a Person of Short Stature sized bar, staffed by said persons. Even had an appropriately sized stage and pole!

Oh man can people please stop being so sensitive about words please? This nonsense wouldn't have happened thirty years ago. It's like a pub near me, that was commemorating a German aeroplane that crashed into a slurry pit in world war 2 and couldn't be retrieved and gradually sank into it very slowly over the following decades, but the council said they couldn't call the pub 'The Dirty Fokker'. You couldn't make it up.

It's not the name of the pub that's offensive, Looks like a modern day flat roof pub to me, horrendous.

Im not saying it has a flat roof by the way. I was using it as a pejorative term ;-)

I used to think that, but flat roof pubs have become my guilty pleasure, I genuinely can't get enough of them. Just tremendous places.

To my (small) shame, I always thought 'Midget' was the right word to use and Dwarf wasn't - after all, the Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Dwarfs were mythical creatures to me, like Oompa Loompas, Gnomes and Leprechauns.

I was wrong.

As for Darlings, in Prague, I hope the one I met 20+ years ago has retired now, possibly replaced with another, or maybe they have a team of Little People Dancers who work shifts. Either way, I'm never going back, I was scared for life - £8 for a warm bottle of Heineken, in fking Prague?!
