I noticed this in my Manadatory refresher training for all Scout Leaders, hadn’t recalled seeing it before & wondered at the time if it was something encountered by a lot of scout leaders? it came to mind again when I saw this in news earlier bhstewie said:

Always very quiet, with just the caretakers car and the odd diplomatic car coming and going.
When the U.K. government cancelled its embassy status, the Russians had a coach arrive the following day to take away all the spooks who had been there.

I noticed this in my Manadatory refresher training for all Scout Leaders, hadn’t recalled seeing it before & wondered at the time if it was something encountered by a lot of scout leaders? it came to mind again when I saw this in news earlier 
Why are the MI5 doing this sort of announcement now then? Is this a new government push from Starmer? Or are they changing culturally I wonder?
For example, I had an ex colleague who worked in the tech remit of MI5 years ago, he sold it to me as some great role (where I doubt it really wasn't) so being young and naive I pushed for a referral on a role they had...the interviewer cut me off as soon as I mentioned I knew my referrer for the role! WTF
I think it's probably changed a bit now but god, it was like a cult back then. My mate changed entirely, but I guess he knew things we all didn't (third hand).

The annual threat update from the MI5 Director General is not new. I'm not certain how long ago they started but google shows previous updates from 2021. So, not a Starmer initiative but probably a continuation of changes going back at least 30 years to make the security services less secret and more accountable.

That does rather describe most teens to be fair. I'd want more different ial diagnosis criteria or I'd be reporting 99 percent of the teens I know to MI5.This is bonkers.
