Police say they have no description of the suspect which will obviously make it difficult to find him or her. Suggests they were covered with a balaclava or similar maybe.
Germany has had a similar stabbing problem to the UK recently and react similarly with political apathy, little long term action and no ducks given so long as the victims aren’t their own family.

FFS Anyone considering committing an atrocity like this is going to carry whatever knife he wants, he is not going to comply with the law on what length he can carry.
