More than 60 'supercars' seized in London
Discussion
Last time I went to a gig at Leeds arena there were six-figure-priced cars littered all over the pavement and other inappropriate places outside the Radisson Blu hotel. All with Qatar plates, all with parking fines attached to the windscreens and, no doubt, all owners giving the sum total of zero fks.

Is that an old Datsun? Seems out of place between the rollers, Bentleys and Range rovers...
Looks in good nick, albeit covered in stickers...
It's got the front and the wheels of a 1978/9 Datsun Skyline 240K GT. But it's a 4 door and i don't think they did a 4 dr 240K GT. So I assume it's some kind of similar Skyline, but not one that was sold in the UK. Is that an old Datsun? Seems out of place between the rollers, Bentleys and Range rovers...

Interested if anyone else can clear it up.

My guess is that if they are foreign registered vehicles then there is simply rarely the correct insurance in place, and the police only decided to check now. If they are UK registered then as mentioned it's either a "rental" and driven by random people, or it's owned by somebody who lives abroad and insured to somebody local because they couldn't find insurance for their circumstances, and, again, nobody has checked until now because ANPR said it was insured.

Five arrests were made, for offences including insurance fraud, using a mobile phone at the wheel, not using a seatbelt and driving without due care.
Is this misleading wording or did they arrest someone for not wearing a seat belt?
Perhaps arrested as unable to be certain of their identity? Is this misleading wording or did they arrest someone for not wearing a seat belt?
