Hope they make a full recovery. What is wrong with people? Knife crime seems to be going out of control.

Hero is an over used word but it sounds like the security guard fits the bill!

We should be able to nominate people like this for bravery awards!

Doesn't look like the victims knew the attacker. Scary stuff.

Mental health issues possibly?

Fingers crossed and thankfully it sounds as if the injuries aren't life threatening.

Bet you there won't be as many posts about someone called Abdullah heroically tackling the knifeman as there would if there was so much of a sniff that the knifeman is called Abdullah.

It’s going to be a tricky one for some if, in fact, the knifeman is actually called Abdullah.

Well done to the security guard; I doubt I’d have been so brave. These events seem to be happening ever more frequently.

Let it be noted who first intimated the subject of race, ethnicity, or religion, on yet another thread about a horrific knife crime.

Hey Stewie - why would the name Abdullah be problematic?

This really is playground stuff. A mother and a daughter have been attacked and a couple of dicks on the internet are busy trying to score points off each other. Have a word with yourselves.

I've just seen the interview with African Darth Vader.
Its quite surreal.

Hope the two injured get well soon.

Only if the knuckle draggers decide to use it as an excuse.

As I was hinting at earlier perhaps if people focused on the heroes as much as they do the villains it wouldn't even be a question.

Nah, it's school holidays time, they'll all be off to Scarborough and Blackpool.

Whenever I read a post like this on this forum, it kind of rings a bell. So I look at the author and lo & behold, it's always you! hehe

Not knocking you btw, just an observation. As you were wink
