Curious to hear thoughts on this, whether it’s a good thing and/or why it’s happening, and is the timing significant before US elections etc?

Pretty clear Russia and Belarus have been kidnapping Germans to get Vadim Krasikov out.
Kind of weird that part of the deal was getting Russians out of Russia jails, that seems like it's Russia's problem, not ours.
Just goes to show that if you give in to blackmail, you get more blackmail, Russia really go after Americans because they fold.
So I think it sucks but I do understand it. It probably had to happen.
I guess Western People need to avoid going to Russia or Belarus.
