All kicking off in Wales again
Discussion
This isn’t really an internal left/right battle and more to do with the fact the guy at the helm has questionable ethics, morals and tries to cover up or Teflon everything. He’s well out of his depth as are most members of the seneydd. Think town or parish councillors rather than MPs!

Now the election is done, Labour infighting in the Senned kicks off again. |Following the Sunak strategy to oust the leader. Will this be the first of many internal battles in the Labour party? I suspect we will see a left right divide arguing against each other.
It didn't stop during the election, it's been an on going topic in Wales with VG have more and more dodgy news. It's a classic example of Labour aligned Unions controlling the decision and common sense falling by the wayside.

Apt for 90+ percent of Wales. Jesus the Welsh first minister is paid £157k!
Devolution is a massive waste of cash and effort. Proven in covid to be totally ineffective, more disruptive than beneficial. If Kier Starmer wants to save some money then scrapping all devolution would save us all a fortune and a lot of unneeded politics.

The cost is peanuts in the scheme of things. Chicken feed as Boris might say… Devolution is a massive waste of cash and effort. Hear here!We need more devolution of power from Westminster to the regions. That can be achieved by giving cities Mayors with real clout as seen in London and Manchester, and it can be done through regional assemblies and parliaments where there's an appetite for them. Doesn't have to be a one size fits all solution. If nothing else, it's a great way of taking the heat out of the calls for independence.
The idea that scraping devolution will save lots of money is just bks if you look at the numbers. If you want efficient spending on services like health, education, and industrial and transport policy, it's better handled at a regional level than UK national level. You have to rip this stuff out of Westminster's hands and devolve the power and the responsibility. Joe Public need to know who to hold to account. At the moment an awful lot of stuff that gets blamed on the Senedd is entirely Westminster's problem because the Senedd in reality has very little genuine agency.
