Can anyone shed some light on this, why would the Chines and Belarusians be joining up to do a drill near the Polish boarder?

Listing to Radio 4 today there was a suggestion it's an anti NATO position, on the eve of the NATO meeting. Quite concerning in my view .

Because Putin & WTP thought it would be a giggle, and Putin then told Lukashenko to make it happen.

For the same reason the US holds exercises with South Korea, Japan, the UK and a host of other countries.

It's a combination of training and sabre-rattling.

It is the links with russia that count. Mao or whatever his name is these days is on a visit to putinland at the moment iirc.

I think we are now heading towards a larger war in europe in the next few years and from conversations with people who should know about this sort of stuff, planning is already in progress. The Finnish foreign secretary was being interviewed on a news channel yesterday and she said they are already in a hybrid war with Russia, along with the baltic states. If food shortages from climate change get severe it will definitely kick off with two huge populations (china and russia) to feed.

I wouldn't worry about it, if there was an incident China would back down.

So China say they want to Invade Taiwan and Russia are invading Ukraine.

Does Nato want to invade China or Russia?

Show which side is sabre rattling?

How many countries has the US attacked or invaded compared to China?

My enemy’s enemy is my friend.

It’s the same principle behind why we supported Saddam during his war against Iran and why we’re happy to sell ££billions of weapons to the Saudis when they were bombing Yemen.

You're saying we're sabre rattling at China and Russia. We haven't invaded them and we don't want to.

Invasion isn’t the only purpose of sabre rattling.

Well I don't have a problem with defensive sabre rattling, we can do as much of that as we want. Detering a war is a very good thing.

In contrast what Belarus and China are doing is very much not defensive.

Yep. They just want their $.

Panda politics at its best.

At the moment they are rinsing RU for every penny they can get.

Once that money runs out expect stuff from China to suddenly get cheaper again.
