Clearly a huge catastrophe for all however how common is it to have a first fit as an adult in the absence of injury, tumour or meningitis?

25% of the 80 diagnosed daily are over 65. How many of those were unrelated to an associated reason is unknown. Clearly a huge catastrophe for all however how common is it to have a first fit as an adult in the absence of injury, tumour or meningitis?
A tragic accident, and it was just that an accident.
I feel for the parents of the children killed, but saying they have been denied justice is wrong.
Locking the woman involved up for something she had no control over won’t change the situation or ease their grief.
The woman will also be suffering for the rest of her life.

Indeed just about sums it up I feel for the parents of the children killed, but saying they have been denied justice is wrong.

The Coroner’s inquest will fill in the blanks where the families will be able to hear the expert medical testimony

The first sizure she ever has.....and ....... it happens when she is driving.... and....... directly towards a childrens school.
That takes some believing for me!
But there again O J Simpson was not guilty of murder.
Good job we have people that throughly investigate (Just look at the time it has taken to make their decision) these things then. That takes some believing for me!
But there again O J Simpson was not guilty of murder.

So what do you think is the truth then? She deliberately killed a couple of kids? That takes some believing for me!

Some people have seizures. They can’t predict them. It’s a horrible situation but locking someone up for having a seizure makes no sense. It’s just an accident.
Shocking, punishments for killing while driving are so tamely punished.
Her choice of car in a built up area must have some blame for the outcome.
If she had be driving a k11 Micra I doubt it would have got through the front gates, but having a dead weight on the accelerator of a 2.5T 300bhp+ car is always going to cause serious damage in a built up area.

Sometimes people just die whilst driving a car from natural causes, I can guarantee they never did it before and won’t ever again nor did they choose when it would happen

We recently had the incident of the school bus driver dying at the wheel which resulted in not only his death but one of the children he was driving to school
Trust me a car weighing far less would likely still prove fatal to someone, particularly a child pinned underneath it
There are 10’s thousands of far heavier vehicles than land rovers driving continually on city streets

Good job we have real experts to investigate.
I had my first blackout seizure when I was 42, absolutely no indication whatsoever that I would ever have one. Thank god I was at home at the time. Second time I was in the bathroom and smashed my head on the basin.
Couldn’t drive for two years and now on medication for the rest of my life.
If she had such a seizure before and had not been on medication at the time and then had the accident then the CPS would have a very different view.
It can happen to anyone at any time.
Utterly tragic accident and for anyone to suggest that the driver is to blame is being absurd.
