How do we think Labour are going to hit motorists?

I'm pretty sure they are going to ban personal cars, make cyclists wear lycra 3 sizes too small and require all pedestrians to link elbows and skip while singing "we're off to see the wizard...".
Well, they've made a good start on painting the roads in rainbow colours. Just need to get them to focus on the yellow bit...Community-knitted speed bumps, an extra Bank Holiday named after Saddiq Khan, diesels to be rounded up and burnt exported to Africa, 10 mph off all speed limits to improve air quality, tyres to be banned due to particulate emissions and probably free broadband for everyone with a bicycle.

I hope I'll get an enforced 20mph speed limit in the road where I live in SE London. Though I expect that's down to the council rather than the government. That will probably stay Tory.
I thought most of London had regulatory 20mph limits already? And that the vast majority of it was running at 14mph for years anyway With the move to EV's any excessive taxation on ICE will just push people towards them faster, what will likely happen will be a default tax rate for all cars.
I pay over £700 a year VED for a 1.3 Mazda and so there's not many left on the road now, same with most nice cars made in the decade from 2006 onwards till 2016 when the VED rate was reduced.
I don't see the labour government being much worse than the Tories tbh as they promised us 80mph motorways in their first manifesto yet speed limits have been reduced everywhere over the past 14 years.
