Watching news today and the ovation and speeches for and from MP Craig Mackinlay.

We all moan about our MPs on all sides however watching the scenes from the commons and hearing the speeches made makes you remember they are all just people and their behaviour today was wonderful and kind. Fair play to him and all those around him, a lovely moment relating to something so horrible.

He was unlucky that he lost his limbs, but lucky to be alive too I guess. Bacterial infections are no joke and could happen to anyone.

That's heartwarming.

All sides clapping and the Speaker adding his mouthed support and his little comment about clapping - that this is the 'exception'.

Wonderful to see.
