Why is this news that the first black man is elected as the first Welsh labour leader?
Surely there is still a racism problem if everytime there is a first it is reported.

New leader elected and that it. who give a flying fk about anything else?

It means most people still see people as black or white instead as just people

I know absolutely nothing about the guy.

Is he sensible, principled, and with an overarching sense of acting in the best interest of his electorate?

Or is he just a tt like his predecessor, and - indeed - politicians generally?

But in this case it is justified. I believe he is the first black leader of any European country. Historic day indeed.

I thought he was regarded as the Welsh Matt Hancock? His nickname was Keep Guessing during Covid.

Have to be honest I was surprised the BBC headline was "Vaughan Gething to become Wales' first black leader".

I think it's noteworthy but I'm not sure it's the main headline around Gething's victory.

Only with the gammony loons.

They probably have moved on to farming and WEF want you to eat insects inside 15mins of your house radicalisation.

Was he the one shutting the supermarket aisles to prevent "frivolous" purchases or was that another Tw*t?

Born Guessing: from what I understand, he presided over the lockdowns. Yep, I'd put him in the Matt Wancock category.

He is principled alright, it just depends on what principles you class as important such as, your own personal freedom to go and buy a toy for your child before Christmas.

He is a continuation candidate and won't be changing the 20mph limit unless he is democratically removed

My mate told all councils in Wales can set exemptions, some have done loads, some have done nearly none. Sounded mad considering all the ste about on forums / social media.

It is true.

So changing limits is down to the local councillors pulling their fingers out. The rest is political spin lapped up and regurgitated.
