Absolutely awful case, but refreshing to see the authorities taking appropriate action despite the usual tables being turned. Clearly alcohol played a massive part here, the abuse being pretty horrific. Enormous kudos and respect to the bloke for being prepared to take action, must have been incredibly hard to do. Talk of a ‘Nanny cam’ and obvious child paraphernalia in the image from said camera, so having kids involved can only have made matters so much more difficult. When confronted by the police she claimed, of course, that it was all his fault and played the victim.

It's good to see times are changing. Twenty years ago the police weren't interested in listening to me, even though I called 999 three times.

I'm not sure if times would be changing without the camera footage, sadly.

That's pretty shocking.

Presumably four years is pretty much parity with what a male offender would expect?

I rather suspect the presence of children - assuming that she is their mother - might have some influence?

Just finished watching the Ch5 documentary.. absolutely horrific. The nanny cam footage was a difficult watch, especially as she did it all in front of their poor young children. I hope she has a very hard time in prison.
