Just read there’s a potential revolt within the Tories to create a challenge at number 10 and Boris is the only person who can save the Conservative Party.

Apparently Lady Judith McAlpine told the Mail on Sunday: "As far as I am concerned the Tory party is rotten to the core. We need new Conservative values, and Boris is the person to deliver that. He is the only person with the charisma to lead the party to success. We need Boris back."

Rotten to the core - didn’t that start with Boris???

Out-of-touch loony expressing their out-of-touchness in a tabloid printed for and by out-of-touch wackos. The first sentence is true, it's largely but not solely the responsibility of Boris.

I am not sure how out of touch that is.
I think Kemi or Penny should take over from Wishy, but I suspect a majority of Tory voters would prefer Boris was back, or rather had just been allowed to ride out the MSM/Labour joint attack.

Boris rebuilt the party in his own image, so not surprising.

Does go to show how out if touch with public opinion the Conservative party are though. Yes - the rot did firmly set in with Boris.

Tbh changing leader again would just demonstrate to me just how hopelessly out of control and away from being a credible party the tories are.

No need for mere suspicion - nowadays you could get a definitive answer by phoning *all* of the Tory voters and asking them - shouldn't take more than a couple of hours, even if some of them are a bit chatty.

Not as long a Starmers list of flip flops or the list of antisemitic lies from Corbyn.

Lies are a lesser sin than changing your mind about something, with added squirrel. This is why the tory party deserve electoral oblivion.

There is a ‘Rishi out’ story virtually every week.
Boris riding to the rescue isn’t going to happen because he isn’t an MP and there is no prospect of him being one, and he surely can’t be bothered - he has no interest is spending a minimum of 5 years as leader of the opposition, far too much like hard work, and limiting money making opportunities.
As for Kemi - think she’s shot her bolt already.

Julian would support them if they nuked central London. He is a lost cause.

To be fair, if BJ was still Pm i think the tories would be heading for an election win.

Say what you want, the guys a winner.

Well he isn’t (entirely self inflicted) and they’re not.

That would require the electorate to forgive a tidal wave of lies and utter contempt.

We seem to enjoy meekly lining up to have juicy greeners flobbed into our faces by our superiors, but there may be a limit somewhere.

The average person in the street doesn't think that way.

The tories are stuffed because of their constant infighting.

Not for the reasons you or others on here dislike him/them.
Imo.

People in general seem to like boris.

Inflicted by all the backstabbing rest of the party and the MSM.
Outside of the PH echo chamber, Boris is well liked by the tory voters.....well, more than Liz and Rishi.

Self inflicted by lying about the Pincher affair - he stabbed himself in the back, and the front.

The press did their job. Boris is a compulsive liar. If you think that makes a good PM then you are daft. If the majority or Tory voters think that then thank god demographics are helping the country out by reducing their voter share.
