Credit where it's due. That's pretty good going at 11!

Is it bad that I'm impressed more than anything else?

Probably safe to assume that he was acting on behalf of some less than savoury people, but still, a 11 year old towing a caravan is pretty impressive.

I'd driven tractors unsupervised by that age.

BMW X5 so probably an auto and maybe push button start?

Basically as close to point and go as it gets I guess.

Police only pulled him over because he was using the touchscreen without swerving out of his lane. A dead giveaway.

‘Turnpike traveller’ would only apply on a toll road. Let’s be correct about this!

Yeah, but you’re a PH Warrior. He’s just an 11 year old kid.

No I'm really not that's the point biggrin

Put to one side the whole parental WTF side of it and I'm not sure it's as difficult as it sounds.

Let’s face it, he’ll learn from his mistakes and will be less likely to be caught next time. Coz there WILL be a next time, that’s for sure.

Article doesn't specify if he was driving alone in the car.

I wonder if there was anyone else on board who magically swapped out of the drivers' seat before the BiB were able to get to the driver's door?

Aged 11? Crikey! Unless he's another of the sort like Luke Littler so appears to be in his 20s.

Yeah, I could sail solo and ride motorcycles at about 8, loads of kids could. I drove my Dad's car in carparks with him in the passenger seat. Neither cars nor bikes were automatic.

I see no difficulty in driving a car at all for a lad over 8. (Assuming he can reach the pedals.)

Navigating a motorway, and a trailer and knowing where to go might be more of a challenge but I suspect he was following another 'loveable rogue'.
