Throw away the key and good riddance to bad rubbish.

R.I.P. to the couple that he murdered.

I'm glad he got a whole life tariff, but 10 years for the kidnapping and rape seems insanely lenient.

A truly horrific crime, the right decision that he'll spend the rest of his life in jail.

I don’t care what the rest of you say, I think what he did was wrong.

I'm surprised this case has been relatively quietly reported in the press. From a reading of the sentencing remarks, it's clear that this was one of the most grim and depraved crimes to have been committed in this country for some.

The victims don't fit the MainStreamNews agenda unfortunately and shockingly so.

Indeed I'd never even heard of it before it seeing this thread, although the pics of the victims do look vaguely familiar from browsing news sites.

It has been in the Mail, Guardian, ITV, Sky, Mirror, Express and BBC several times plus it has been in the T&A and Examiner numerous times . They covered the murder, arrest, plea and start of trial.

He plead guilty, so not a drawn out, dramatic trial.
