Meh.

I was guessing he was either calling a GE or declaring war in Russia and then calling a GE.

Seems a strange speech to make like this, it’s as if there has been some large scale rioting or something

Bet he won't take any questions to avoid any on the contribution that his own party has made to whipping up hatred

Welcome to the real world Rishi, these issues have been boiling within our communities for years now and you and your cohorts have done nothing about it. Broken, Woken, Britain

Is this just because Galloway got elected? I have to say extremism isn't exactly in my top ten of concerns right now.

I think that statement was an attempt to set the tone for the forthcoming general election.

The Tories have decided the only hope they have is to create a ‘national emergency’

What a strange speech. Started off like he was about to call for another cristal nacht and finished on a ‘sorry, not sure what I’m driving at’.

Truly bizarre.

I expect seeing someone like Galloway elected might have had something to do with it.

It did seem a bit tone deaf and one sided on the whole Islamophobia issue.

I didn't see it. Was it Islamaphobic?

I think he’s against Islamophobia now, but not if it’s in his own party, difficult to be sure

Maybe there is some old law from medieval times that allows the government to delay the election if there is some sort of bad behaviour by the electorate.
