There was a thread on this before but can't find it.
Two police firarms officrers drove a marked X5 into the back of a car at 50 mph.
The lady pulled over, and they drove off, all on camera which convieniently gets deleated.
"Criminal charges for failing to stop and report the crash were not brought against the officer but police were told to bring misconduct procedures by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). "
He's now been let off again.

Both of them at the same time?

And how do you keep control of a vehicle able to drive off if your blacked out?

Neither of them saw fit to report it until the following day.
The passenger got a written warning.

He is portrayed as an innocent victim in all this. He didn't report the accident but apparently that's acceptable.

One wonders whether the damage to the car he hit has been paid for by the police or the woman he hit.

Epilepsy can indeed cause amnesia.

It can also affect memory in other ways - I have two distinct memories of the same event. They are both equally real in my brain. I know the real chain of events (from my wife) but the incorrect memory still seems as real.

It can also cause temporary blindness - so maybe our officer couldn’t see the damage when he had finished driving back, blind, to the station.

What, to the best of my knowledge, is can’t do is transmit any of the same symptoms to a colleague sat next to you. So the ‘not at fault really’ conclusion is in my opinion; bks.

Advising it to DVLA is a bit tricky, what constitutes a seizure? Different subject though.
