Strictly not an old school shooter hold up but someone decided to go all 1980's and rob a bank in Christchurch Dorset.

Honestly don't see how much could had been in there worth nicking for the risk/aggro myself, probably easier to hold up a petrol station or bookies.

Sarah, a Christchurch resident, said: “It’s scary for this to happen in Christchurch, I thought it was safe here.”

I mean, you still are, unless you live in a bank and keep the cash under your bed hehe

I’m picturing stolen Golf R, S3 or similar. Something Fast and VAG anyway.

Probably have more luck if they are on the look out for a caravan.

Once John Thaw and Dennis Waterman died this kind of resurgance was inevitable.

I think you might find the sort of person who tries to rob a bank is not going to score high in an IQ test.

I remember many years ago a couple of lads robbed a post office and took a taxi to the post office and asked him to wait outside. He then took them home. Took less than 15 minutes before they were caught.

I clocked that too - 123 is a name of one of their accounts isn't it?

A guy near me robbed his own branch and half the staff recognised him.

You're doing The Sweeney wrong; it's a wheel man, a draftsman, a bell man and a look out. Slaaags! shootshoutcopjudgehehe I have been binge watching it on ITVX.

Old school working up a sweat, but turned into a Dog Day Afternoon.

Poor planning.
