In my view that's a good verdict.
It helps break the idea that gun deaths are just some sort of unintended consequence of the USA's fixation of a "well organised militia".
Factors in this case might not make it replicable in other school shootings, but if it causes one parent to question whether buying their mentally ill son a deadly weapon, then it's a good thing.

Good - this law was specifically put on the books to address this scenario directly. Glad to see that it has been used and in this case, found the mother guilty. As with others, I just hope this makes people think twice about these situations. Breaking the law (buying your underage son a gun, providing him with ammo etc) should have consequences and it seems it will in this case.
