He's accepted a directorship at Wernham Hogg Paper Supplies apparently.

First thought reading the thread title was good riddance but I see some have got in before me.

Unfortunately I'm sure he still has a lucrative career ahead supporting his paymasters. We haven't seen or heard the last of him as they're quite vocal and like their puppets to speak on their behalf. He'll be shoved onto QT and the likes. See also Lizzy's pathetic attempts at being a US far right puppet.

Sad fact is, he thinks he's intelligent and he certainly is, but he's wasted it and will forever have a budget named after him due to being a puppet.

He was educated above his intelligence. he lacks any grounding in reality and considers himself above those who actually know better but who's opinions differ from the ones he's been fed.

I have met him professionally, I was and I remain unimpressed.

That's thrice you've misspelt muppet.

He's my MP, and about as much use as his predecessor, David Wilshire. Was ok to begin with, but then he moved out of the borough and became an elusive cockwomble. Glad he's going, but I don't hold much hope for his replacement as Spelthorne seems as blue as blue thing on a blue day in Bluesville, Arizona.

fking furious. I was looking forward to election night and seeing all these useless s booted out, but so many of them are jumping before they are pushed. Where's the fun in that.

Well, he has gone down in political history for all the wrong reasons so hopefully his legacy will be remembered for years to come.

Like @twig, I was looking forward to the look of utter disappointment on his face come election time when the voting public get a chance to show what they really feel about him.

And you have smug guys like Mogg and Jake Berry who don't care as they have a job for life in the second chamber

It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights smile.

Muppet vs puppet? Both words serve the same point in his case.

But I definitely like a Suzie Dent word of the day.
