What is bothering you OP?
Having a baby so it is death, planning it that way!Not sure why this bothers you though.
From a more practical point of view it makes a great deal of sense, if that is the right word. Two deaf parents raising a hearing child would present many challenges, the most obvious one would be language development and communication.

Surely every Time someone with a hereditary disability has a child they're doing the same thing?I know a lady who is deaf from birth, I am not syre it effects her quality of life, works as a chemist, but trying to have a child with disability????
They needed a sperms donor. They fundamentally disagreed with disability screening, and found a perfectly good donor with the exception of being deaf.

Not sure why there would be language development problems?
