This guy is clearly a nasty piece of work and shows up repeatedly for being a totally st scamming landlord. If we can't stop guys like this, what hope do we have of enforcing sanctions on Russia or Iran, or indeed our own corrupt scamming multi-companied scum in the Lords?

He appears to be a complete roaster who would fold like a cheap suit if you stood up to his poundshop rachmanism, maybe someone will give him what he so clearly wants at some point.

I know someone that is going through issues with their landlord at the moment. Heating and hot and cold water hasnt been working properly since before Christmas along with other maintenance issues.

Absolutely no response from the Landlord. Plumber and Thames Water have diagnosed the issue is in the take away on the ground floor, where the landlord (a company) is the franchisee. However Landlord wont respond or do anything.

Council's have the ability to take action even in private rented accommodation and to give them their due have started to take action and have fixed the other maintenance issues, but cant do the heating as they cant get access downstairs. In theory this is all chargeable back to the Landlord but its time etc or council staff and paid by the taxpayer.

In the meantime of course reputable landlords are rushing around following all the rules wondering why they are so draconian!
