Yesterday Iran fired missiles at targets in Pakistan,
Today Pakistan fires missiles at targets in Iran.

Is it about to kick-off between these two into a more prolonged conflict or tit-for-tat exchanges?

Who knows, watch and wait. I don't think they've ever been mates.

Maybe they use the same targeting system Israel use...

...or maybe the same reporting method Hamas use?

“ Three women, two men and four children were killed, Iran state TV said.”

But then men are never allowed to be civilians…

It's hard to believe that Iran would want a full scale war with a nuclear armed Pakistan. But, who knows? And there is always the danger of unintended escalation.

What a mess. This could easily end up being a Shia (Iran) vs Sunni (Pakistan) showdown.

Iran *probabaly* has a nuke now itself.

It's a weird one.

They both claim there is terrorist groups hiding in the others border regions.

But niether is making any effort to deal with the problem on their own side.

Both have bigger fish to fry when it comes to their armed forces.

Except in this case, the Sky Fairy is the same, the Prophet is the same, it's centuries old fallout of a political power play. When the Prophet Muhammed died, there was political power plays. Some thought leadership of Muslims should be passed by election to a new leader. They became Sunni's. Some believed it should be inherited, like a Crown, to the Prophet's heir, and they're the Shia's.

They've diverged a little more since then, but that's the start of it.

This particular tiff will blow over. It's Iran flexing its muscles after the recent terrorist bombing which killed 94 Iranians. Both Iran and Pakistan have bigger problems elsewhere.

Just to confuse things a little more, Hezbollah are Shia, and Hamas are Sunni.

It does sound like that. So they're not conflicted over religion or land but are just very aggressive people so they will fight each other anyway. Did someone spill the other's beer?
