Sounds fairly serious so hope she makes a full recovery.

My daughter who is in her 40s had Endometriosis. It caused her painful grief for years and had a serious of ops which allowed temporary relief. Recently had a full Hysterectomy and not tempting fate seems much better.

I wish the Princess of Wales well and for a a full and healthy recovery.

I guess she is a royal, but also, that if it is endo, then it puts it in the public eye.

Too many women have to suffer from this debilitating condition in silence.

Insert white knight reference here
Yes that was the point I was trying to make. Prostate cancer was taboo and unspoken for years.

We should understand what the better part of us suffer as well.

Yes, rather long overdue.

Many women will be very interested in Kate's situation and how it's covered by the media. If it's a hysterectomy there will be a lot of sympathy from women who have gone through the same issues, and understand the various problems.

My wife had this after a 4kg cyst was found, she was in and out in 48 hrs, 3 weeks off work and that was it.

Certainly not 2 weeks in hospital.

The recovery time fits and she’s obviously done her child bearing duty but two weeks in hospital?

She’s young and fit - elderly family members have had a hysterectomy and been in and out in a couple of days. scratchchin

Wife is a mega Kate fan so I get all the updates-we watched her xmas carol service and she looked scarily underweight for a woman who usually looks the picture of health.

Hopefully nothing too serious.
