There's a whole who ha about busses of South Americans getting bussed to various cities of the US. Why doesnt the US bus them to the likes of Detroit and other cities thst have declining populations? Here's an abandoned house look after it etc.

The GOP thinks they're being "smart" by bussing them to Democrat run cities.Obviously not quite that simple but you get the idea.
Ironically, it encourages then to come. Hop the border, get a free ride to Chicago or New York!

States have fixed budgets, that puts a tremendous strain on States like Texas.
Some democratically controlled States have become sanctuary States or have sanctuary Cities within them.
Federal law, or the lack of, has made it very easy for people to enter across the border
They arrive penniless having been bled dry by the cayote guides (drug cartel side hustle) they are being fed and housed in hotels ofwhich many have been trashed when told they will be relocated to NY Cities outside of Manhattan.. I can't afford to live in Manhattan
Now they have been given free healthcare, legal immigrants didn't get that nor do Citizens.
Americans are not anti immigrant as almost all are either immigrants themselves or descendants of.
But there is a swell of discontent on the current policy.

Rep OAC (Dem) was recently. shouted down by her own constituents in NYC. A Dem City. Had to leave the stage.
People in NY got angry seeing them arrived with new smartphones and new $100 suitcases and then trash the hotels.
Plenty of poor people in the States.
Spending is out of control.... Ukraine, Israel now immigrants.
