I’ve seen a couple of clips on YouTube.
It looked aggressive but mainly peaceful to me, which is probably why it’s received barely a mention on the usual outlets.
However, if the same actions had been taken by those protesting Covid restrictions, then I’m sure it would have been a threat to democracy.

I did wonder what sort of stuff a FaceBook group called "For a Traditional Britain" would be all about but the first comment kind of gives the game away doesn't it?
"What are they even doing in the UK? Eritrea was an Italian colony. What kind of government tolerates all this?"
Dear oh dear.

Presumably "for traditional britain" st themselves every 12th July when traditional demographics in Ulster set fire to huge bonfires and join in traditional folk rituals like throwing petrol bombs and rocks at the police? What about the fireworks tossed at police lines in Dundee for no fking reason anyone can discern other than the protagonists were a bit bored with organised municipal displays back in November? Or is it only when certain people kick off? Facebook is such a cesspool.https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/eritrean-prot...

What was the actual problem?
The Police statement is deliberately vague and it appears no one actually employs journalists anymore (perhaps even more so over the Christmas and New Year slumber) so the same marginally edited reports can be found across various traditional media outlets.
I “don’t do” Facebook.

My thoughts exactly."What are they even doing in the UK? Eritrea was an Italian colony. What kind of government tolerates all this?"

The beeb says 50 people were involved. Pfft, barely worth a topic, though some on Facebook seem keen to make more out of this.
It’s nothing new at all, the Met has been refereeing disputes between disparate groups from all over the world for decades
It quite amazing how many different nationalities are in the city and trying to keep up with who has the hump with who is quite a task for the intell teams
All part of the joys of being a “global city”

The Telegraph have done a write up here: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/12/30/protes...The Police statement is deliberately vague and it appears no one actually employs journalists anymore (perhaps even more so over the Christmas and New Year slumber) so the same marginally edited reports can be found across various traditional media outlets.

This article in DW summarises: https://www.dw.com/en/ethiopia-and-eritrea-is-a-ne...
As far as I understand this some Eritrean Government Officials were having a meeting in London and these Eritreans showed up to Protest . Please put me right on this if I have it wrong ?
This is the inevitable spin off from the Multi Culture which we all now inhabit whereby any waif and stray can rock up in London or indeed any of our Cities and wage havoc . Surely its only a matter of time before the Albanian Car Wash Boys do likewise when they demand parity with Britains Public Sector Workers on the basis that they provide an essential Public Service to lard arse Brits who are too idle to through a bucket of hot water over a Ford Fiesta .
