It just further underscores why the system as it stands should be scrapped.It’s pathetic
The House Of Lords should be fully repurposed along with a total rethink of our political system.
Meanwhile honours like this should be entirely non-political.
That Truss even got to name some is idiotic.

By all means bung a couple of knighthoods and fk off quietly out the back door but putting people in the Lords for life after a month in office before resigning in disgrace?
