Noticed there is no thread on the Covid inquiry. So far, fairly unsurprising evidence given. Mistakes made all over the place, people not understanding the science, the scientists having their own personal and political views.
Like other inquiries will it teach us anything? Any other government would have probably done the same in the circumstances?
Also, the most arrogant man in the world, Sadiq Khan claims he would have saved thousands of lives. He is unbelievable.
Looking at covid and lock downs specifically, did they prove to do anything other than damage the economy? Still not clear despite the hearings.
If we had another covid, what would we do next time, ignore it and let nature take its course?
Will be interesting to hear what Sunak and Johnson say, one thing it seems, Johnson was so far out of his depth as a leader.
