Having worked part time at a large McDonalds back in 1995ish as a job to help pay my way through uni, totally unsurprised at this. I was definitely the victim of bullying whilst there by some senior managers I was just not mature enough to recognise it and report it, there was no obvious way to report it to head office either. I didn't see any sexual behaviour but can imagine in smaller stores where the kitchens are less spacious if someone wanted to accidentally rub up past someone it was easily possible and could be made a common occurrence.

Yes, totally. You get 16 year olds working in there.

I remember working in my first week and someone asked me to move the time counters from the heater, I did as I was told and a senior manager (Jason his name was) caught me doing it and started screaming at me in front of all the staff and customers. When I said I was just doing what someone asked he started being sarcastic saying 'would you stick your head in the oven if I said or would you jump off the building if I said' and kept carrying on. All the staff stopped what they were doing and even customers stopped ordering. I was literally shell shocked. Turned out this was normal for new people, he would find a way to humiliate and belittle them as a way of putting power over them. I saw this all the time from him and another manager.
