Rip to the Gentleman murdered.

"A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 70-year-old in Hartlepool.

Terrence Carney died where he was attacked on Tees Street on Sunday and the case is being investigated by counter-terrorism police.

Ahmed Alid, 44, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court via video link charged with murder and the attempted murder of a second man."

What's upsetting, this is now normalised.

Just another news item.

Interestingly the BBC described him as "Hartlepool man".

I wouldn't describe myself as that and I've lived here for 5 years and with family links going back nearly a century.

But I don't believe them all [asylum seekers]to be wrong uns that should go back to where they came from.

Seemed to be a lot of police about today as I commuted.

Mental health again?

Like others have said, its very sad for this country that this barely makes the news. A sign of things to come?

Same as the US school shootings. Nothing's going to change.

44 year old attacking an old man, cowardice in the extreme.

Guess the story has been updated, it says "Moroccan man" now for the attacker and doesn't mention anything for the two victims.

I see it has been reported as a revenge act for what is happening in Gaza www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/10/20/terrorist-atta...
The attacker came by boat in 2020 good job multiculturalism is working as I would hate to see what would happen if it did not.

Man stabs HMO housemate who just converted to Christianity, then goes outside and murders the first ‘non-believer’ he comes across. Religion again.
Thames swimmer Azedi’s Christianity conversion plan seems like it may have unintended consequences.
Let’s see if code word Gaza gets this guy off the hook. Hopefully not.

Oh bless, the BBC got called out for their propaganda and had to move closer to the truth (for once).

Imagine running defence for this guy because of ideology.

Disgusting, treasonous scum.

Isn't it just that the facts are a little better established now than they were at the time of the original article?

They don't seem to be pulling any punches now and rightly so.

Well, if you allow people in, unscreened, it will happen.

If there are zero checks, then along with all the good, honest, ordinary bods, you are going to get all manner of post-tramatic cases, extremists, zealots and outright criminals. The system fails us.

I don’t think there’s a check anywhere within the realms of political correctness that you could do for this.
How would you screen them? I honestly don’t think there’s a way to do it.

Naaaah.

We both know (as do most I ecpect) that they run defence for the progressive agenda.

It's consistent and deliberate and they only change things when they have to.

I don't beleive for a second you're either dim or biased enough to not already know this.

Initially they only go off what the police tell them, unless they have an actual real life investigative journalist on the case peprared to knock on doors or do some actual journalism. Most of the time they just get spoon fed the info and then they regurgitate it without any extra investigation. As it progresses more facts emerge.

If you want to believe that or live in denial, go ahead.

Everyone else, can see the blatant truth.

As bad as all these things are, our press still feel the need to make things up:

Daily Mail;

An article published on April 7 mistakenly claimed that the Clapham chemical attacker Abdul Ezedi had been supported by the Church of England, and that this enabled him to 'beat the system'. We accept that Mr Ezedi is not known to have had any connections with the Church of England and apologise for the error.
