TMZ say it's Keefe D, Orlando Anderson's uncle.

Orlando Anderson is slated to have been the shooter, but he's also now dead (and has been for a while). Wonder what's brought the arrest on, Keefe D has said in the past he was in the car with the shooter when Tupac was shot.

The "Unsolved" TV mini series had it playing out exactly like that but to prove it the police must have some new evidence I guess.Reggie Wright Jr basically predicted this.

I had several friends in the music industry in the 90s. Basically everyone knew exactly who did it the day after. There was a widely reported gang war in Compton the very next day which was the Southside Crips (Keefe D and Orlando Anderson's gang) vs the Mob Piru's (Suge Knight's gang).
Incredible that it has taken 27 years to ''solve'' something that was open knowledge when it happened. Orlando Anderson was alive for three years after Tupac and even testified on behalf of Suge Knight (allegedly after being paid off). The other two in the car were alive for years.
Also bear in mind that Tupac was under near constant surveillance for the past year of his life. A friend of mine was his videographer and said there were always suspicious cars parked on the street near his house on Sunset.
Finally, I have been to Vegas in the 90s on a fight night. The traffic is bumper to bumper. How did the Cadillac escape in such a packed city just after the fight when the town was full of people from other places and absolutely clogged with cars and people.
This would be illuminating if some of these issues are explained but I suspect Keefe D is the end of the matter. No one wants to go any deeper into what exactly happened around how they escaped after it happened which to me is the real question.

Ice-T is fantastic. I read one of his books and had to laugh when he said the bloods and crips gangs are forbidden to use the first letter of their rival's gang names. Example being the bloods couldn't use the letter c so they would have to ask for a 'bup of boffee'.Ice-T has something to say too: https://www.vibe.com/news/entertainment/ice-t-keef...

I wonder how the Crips would threaten to stage a blood bath?Ridiculous.

Is this where all the daft misspelling of words comes from?
Or is it just “cool” to look dumb?

Tupacs brother is saying it only didnt get solved because of his colour.
Is there any validity in that ? But then posters above are saying everyone knew who did it ?
Weird.
I know an 18 year old who I saw the day this was announced wearing a Tupac T shirt, I mentioned it having seen the news and he seemed to think I knew all about Tupac as I am dead old and stuff, I dont really, he didnt seem to know anything either

When the police show up to murder scenes in the black neighbourhoods it's very common that there are no witnesses and "nobody saw a thing". Is there any validity in that ? But then posters above are saying everyone knew who did it ?

It's very common in black communities to keep silent about who the culprits are and to settle the score another way. So Tupac's brother probably is correct, but it's more a reflection of the black community than the police.

Everyone has known since the moment of the shooting. There has been a 25 year industry of "who shot Tupac" which is ludicrous as it's the worst kept secret in history. Is there any validity in that ? But then posters above are saying everyone knew who did it ?

There was literally a gang war two days after the shooting between the two parties involved (Southside Crips and Mob Piru). If the Compton police gang unit had been allowed jurisdiction it would have been over within months. I believe two of the detectives from Compton also wrote a book about their investigation being stymied.
Even though it was the worst kept secret ever there was friction between LAPD and LVPD as Vegas did not want Compton police solving their murders and as mentioned above none of the gang members involved or even Suge Knight would talk to the police as they wanted their own form of retaliation which is how it works in the streets, not via the justice system.
Impressed by your knowledge, though us talking about it on PH, in NP and E put me in mind of this,
